For the best result, empty the appliance completely. A cleaner should not be responsible for deciding which food, medicine, or personal items to discard or keep.
Preparing the refrigerator
Move food to a cooler or another safe location before the appointment. Remove loose liners and identify any cracked shelves or drawers. If the refrigerator must be unplugged, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and manage food safety yourself.
Old spills can stain plastic permanently, and odors may come from drains, insulation, or mechanical issues that cleaning cannot repair. The service addresses cleanable interior surfaces; it is not appliance maintenance.
Preparing the oven

Keep cleaning separate from appliance service and moving
Confirm the exact appliance and compartments before booking. A refrigerator interior does not automatically include a packed freezer, ice maker, water dispenser, condenser coils, drain service, or defrosting. An oven interior does not automatically include dismantling the door, cleaning between sealed glass panes, disconnecting gas or electricity, or repairing damaged seals, controls, elements, or coatings. Manufacturer instructions control what can be removed and how each component should be handled.
Cleaning behind or beneath a freestanding appliance also requires a separate access decision. Cleaners should not be expected to pull heavy, built-in, connected, unstable, or floor-sensitive appliances from the wall. If a qualified party will move an appliance, arrange safe disconnection, clearance, and reinstallation outside the ordinary cleaning scope. Report leaks, electrical issues, gas concerns, broken parts, pest evidence, or mechanical odors before the appointment and use the appropriate repair or specialist provider when needed.
